Job Description
My client is currently looking to appoint a Senior Network Engineer. You will be joining a world leader in communications and they are giving you the chance for excellent career development. You will have a strong technical background and will be required to assist the Architecture team in Dublin to include design, implementation and monitoring of large scale networks.
You will be required to continually improve the network and also help them to grow in Ireland.
What you will need as a Senior Network Engineer:
* 6+ years hands on technical experience in Network Design & Engineering.
* CCIE Routing & Switching certification is desirable.
* Knowledge and experience working with MPLS, VPN, SIP, IP, Carriers
* Varying range of Cisco products in hardware and software
* Programming knowledge in some would be good (Perl, Python, PHP, Java)
* Expertise in Linux/Unix
* Working knowledge of Network Testing tools
* Understanding of VOIP
* Relevant Computer degree
