Job Title: .Net Engineer

Location: Limerick City

Salary: up to €60k DOE

My client are a leading independent investment research and governance advisory firm based in Limerick City and they are currently in need of a .Net Engineer to join their team.

You will have the chance to work on an enterprise level application in an Agile environment and contribute to design and code reviews.

.Net Engineer Requirements:

Degree in computer science or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years' experience in software development. Experience should incorporate a minimum of 4 years' development experience through the entire lifecycle of an enterprise application (multi-tier) using the following technologies and methodologies;

* Experience with .NET 2.0 - 4.5, Visual Studio, C#.
* Experience working in an Agile environment.
* Experience with WebApi and middle-tier API services.
* Knowledge of Dependency Injection and writing testable code.
* Experience with automated unit testing frameworks and test-driven development.
* T-SQL experience including the ability to analyse complex flows within Stored Procedures, SQL Server 2012 and upwards desirable.
* Experience in LINQ.
* 3 years' experience implementing features in applications by leveraging design patterns.
* Experience in building high performance applications that can scale across multiple servers.
* Strong documentation and communication skills.
* Exposure to Java, JavaScript and/or JSPs would be a distinct advantage.
* Some exposure to LAMP, PHP or Python also an advantage.
