Business Intelligence Developer
realTime Recruitment is currently on the lookout for BI Developers & Lead BI Developers for 12 Month contract engagements in Dublin City.
The roles are with a large and extremely successful Client of ours who are searching for experienced individuals as well as Lead/Senior consultants.
Responsibilities and Activities
• Monitor and Deliver a stable Enterprise Reporting service to support our Client’s business decision-making processes
• Analyse performance of the current service and propose and recommend the incremental upgrade of current systems
• Identify, evaluate and implement technical opportunities to move the Client’s business forward – what do these technologies mean and what can the company get from them
• Interpret business requirements from a wider perspective and recommend/propose the most appropriate technical solutions in line with industry advances
• Ensure plans for the team and technical projects are aligned with the business objectives

Background
• Deep knowledge of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence technologies (e.g. Tableau, Cognos, OBIEE, Hyperion Essbase)
• 5 years proven track record of successfully delivering projects
• Able to maintain and develop relationships at a top-level and with key stakeholders, within internal IT department and with external 3rd parties
• Experience managing Data Warehouse & BI software solutions
• Demonstrate ability to resolve problems at a Management and technical level
• Experience working in a strong project governance environment and maintaining delivery
• Experience with the full development lifecycle (planning, requirements, design/architecture, development, implementation, support/maintenance)
