I have an excellent opportunity with a growing software house in Dublin City Centre. They are planning to build a new software testing team and will start by hiring the test lead. This role could be well suited to either an experienced test lead or an ambitious senior test engineer who is keen to take the next step in their career.

In this role you will play a major part in defining and implementing all test process and strategies. You will work closely with senior management and lead all aspects of testing. This role will also involve a lot of hands on testing in the early stages but this will decrease over time as the team grows. The plan is to automate as much of the testing as possible but there has been no decision taken on which technology to use for this.

Requirements

* Computer Science degree or similar
* At least 5 years in a software testing role
* Experience in a test lead role would be beneficial but is not required
* Extensive knowledge of software testing best practises
* Experience with Agile methodologies
* Hands on test automation experience would be an advantage
