Job Title: Solutions Architect

Location: Dublin

My client is looking for a Solutions Architect to join their team in Dublin and be involved in one of the most exciting and innovative projects to change the way we fly!

They are currently developing software that will provide connectivity for in-flight entertainment systems meaning passengers will soon be able to connect their own devices via wifi on a plane and you will have the opportunity to be a part of that.

Solutions Architect Requirements:

* BA or BS degree in Computer Science or related field;
* A minimum of 7 years' experience working for a software, consulting or communications firm
* Widely seasoned technical specialist in field with a comprehensive understanding of the techniques of a professional service delivery /consultancy firm
* Significant experience in systems architecture using cloud technologies and services such as Amazon AWS (EC2, S3, VPC), OpenStack, NoSQL
* Familiarity with structured document processing, document management systems and associated technologies such as XML, XSLT and XProc
* Outstanding communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
* Excellent leadership experience and team management, working across multiple work streams.
* Strong experience facilitating customer design meetings, ensuring alignment of decision making with internal and external stakeholders (technical and non-technical).
* An ability to work under pressure and deliver whilst maintaining a strong client focus at all times.
* A willingness to travel given the global spread of our client base. This should cap out at no more than 20% of your time.
