Lead Test Consultant ( Contract )
Summary of Responsibilities
A large multinational based in Dublin is looking for a QA tester with an eye for detail and experience with testing production software in global enterprises. Your primary responsibilities will be testing an innovative platforms for the Global Technology and Operations group, lead junior team members and report status and results of the tests to the Project Managers. You will be required to adapt quickly and work closely with the BA and developers to ensure that our new platforms are of the highest quality when delivered to the business.
Responsibilities:
• Write test specifications from requirements and functional specifications
• Implement software test plans and test strategy
• Design and implement test schedules
• Design and execute manual test cases
• Interact with BAs, developers and management to discuss and resolve defects
• Review, mentor and assign tasks to junior QA staff
Skills and Experience
• 4+ years’ experience with software QA
• Experiencing in testing software solutions in large global enterprises
• Knowledge of databases and development tools
• Experience testing in a .NET/Java or mobile environment
• Strong organisational, multi-tasking and time-management skills
• Good verbal/written communication
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems is a plus
