Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to perform design and development in our clients' Services Dublin Branch. You will be a senior member of the Prime Finance IT development team reporting into the regulatory reporting functional lead based in London. This is a global team based in Dublin, New York, London, Singapore, India and HK and as part of this team you will deliver solutions for the Prime Finance business worldwide with your main focus being regulatory reporting.

Required Skills:

* 10+ years of Java development experience with in-depth knowledge of Spring Framework (core and Spring MVC); Spring Data JPA/Hibernate; Thymeleaf/JSP; JMS; SQL (SQL Server, Sybase or Oracle); Design Patterns; Eclipse; Junit; Maven and SVN
* You will be responsible for the design, development, testing and production deployment oversight of the functionality to meet the business requirements.
* You will be working closely with the development teams, testing teams and business users in all regions throughout the lifecycle of projects to ensure that the requirements are being correctly interpreted.
* Previous banking experience is a major advantage

Education:

* 3rd Level Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Requirement:

* You will assist with production support as required.
* You will possess excellent design skills and a can-do approach to problem solving and owning problems through to solution with minimal guidance
* You will have experience of working in the financial services industry, direct experience in the area of Prime Finance and equity swaps would be a bonus
* Your excellent communication and presentation skills will be second to none
