Business Process Engineer – Contract – City Centre Location - market rates.
Solas Consulting are proud to partner with a global client for this very attractive 25 working days contract position based in Dublin City Centre. The ideal candidate will be familiar with all aspects of the IT Work stream. He/she will function within a matrix management environment, reporting to the Project Manager of the project.
The perfect candidate will have worked on a number of large and complex IT Projects in the role of Business Process Engineer. He/she will be primarily tasked with documenting process flow diagrams for a new operating model in relation to the delivery of a new Big Data platform.

The Role:
The Business Process Engineer role is a 25 working days contract. The Business process Engineer will work with the project team and with stakeholders across all functions within the IT division including Project Management, Solution Delivery/Development, IT Infrastructure, Business Analysis, Quality Assurance, Service Operations and Information Security.
Candidates must have in excess of seven years of current Business Process Engineering experience in an IT environment. They must be able to demonstrate evidence of a track-record of delivery in challenging environments and excellent stakeholder management. The candidate should be capable of quickly understanding the workings of the organisation.
Key responsibilities of the Business Process Engineer will include:
• Meeting with functional stakeholders to understand roles and responsibilities, and map respective processes, ensuring all department interactions are clearly identified.
• Understanding the use cases for the new Big Data service and the responsibilities and key hand-offs between functional areas.
• Documenting the description and process flow diagrams for the operating model.
