The Role:
We are looking for a QA / Test Engineer to join our team. The role is to test new functionality, verify bug fixes, write test scripts, report defects and conduct regression testing with the aim of ensuring that exacting quality standards are achieved consistently.
You will be working on automated and manual testing of complex web-based systems.
This project will be on a client site, so you will be an excellent communicator and able to adapt to the client’s needs. This is a full stack role, so you will enjoy working on Front end and Back end systems so a good knowledge of SQL is important. You will need to be a strong coder who consistently provides top class results.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for planning and writing the QA testing for each project.
You will need to provide accurate documentation of issues discovered during the QA process.
You will need to provide regular status updates to the QA manager
You will be confident to adapt to the front or back end as required for the project
You will pride yourself on solving problems and relish in delighting your client
Minimum Requirements:
+ 2 years in a commercial IT environment
Experience using SQL
Knowledge and experience using automated testing tools such as Selenium, J-Unit, Soap-UI, etc.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Third level qualification in an IT discipline
