An exciting opportunity has arisen for an articulate and confident Oracle Developer to take up a 6-month contract position in Cork.
Our client is a large software development organisation and is looking for an enthusiastic individual who can add to a thriving work environment.
The successful candidate will be expected to work to deadlines and interact with other members of the development team.
To be considered you must possess:
- Degree in computer science or a related discipline
- 5 years + commercial experience working with Oracle to include Oracle 10g and 11g
- Essential experience in UNIX Shell scripting
- Knowledge Oracle financials 11i, crystal reports and oracle reports 10g
- Experience of SQL and PLSQL is essential
- Working experience of SQL Plus, TOAD and SQL Loader
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to take on new information and gain new skills
- Must have excellent written and verbal English skills
- Cooperate with other developers within the team
This is a position with a leading company who will provide a competitive salary of €280-300 per day
