IT Systems Support (Government Body) – Permanent, Dublin City Centre

IT Systems Support Role and Responsibilities:
Our client is looking for an IT Systems Support with experience administering a Microsoft Office environment for a hands on role based in their city centre offices.

Responsibilities:

·         Deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all active network equipment in order to ensure smooth network operation.

·         Install and integrate new server hardware and applications.

·         Administration of Microsoft Active Directory.

·         Application of security updates and patches to servers and clients.

Required:

·         3+ Years’ experience in a similar role

·         Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s, remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution

·         Experience with administering a Microsoft Office 365 environment

·         Ability to set up and configure server hardware

Desirable:

·         Familiarity with Cyber Security risks and solutions

·         Experience with administering a vSphere environment

·         Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies
