Dublin Based Data Scientist (Consultant)

My client is an exciting, innovative and market leading company in their field. The work they do is creative and inventive and solves big problems for their customers. The team and work culture is one of excitement and enthusiastic. My client is looking for a talented data scientist to join this upbeat and stimulating team to help them break new grounds. The successful data scientist will get to be a part of implementation of new strategies and procedures and to help my client solve their customer's problems.

Responsibilities

* To aid the expansion of the analytics department
* Maintain numerous large data sets
* Provide advice and support on implementation of new strategies and procedures
* Model data and present findings in a non-technical manner
* Design and usage of machine learning algorithms

Requirements

* Good experience with SQL, R, Python, SAS
* Experience with apache spark or similar
* At least 2 years' experience in an analytical role
* Third level degree in relevant field
* Preference given to those with a financial background or those who have experience consulting

Salary and Benefits

* Salary 50-60k (dependent on candidate)
