Our client are a leading financial services firm based in the city centre. They are currently recruiting a SQL Analyst, preferably with MicroStrategy skills, for initially a 12 month fixed term contract.

The role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Development of complex reports & SQL queries for the business areas
• Development of ETL SQL queries for staging table and final data load
• Configuration of data warehouse application (ideally 1-2 years’ experience with Microstrategy Report development, configuration of Narrowcast/ Distribution Services)
• Liaise with business users & external vendors to determine how best to deliver those requirements

Requirements

• A 3rd Level Qualification
• 2-3 Years SQL query / Report development experience in a top tier data warehousing product
• Use of T-SQL, SSMS SQL Server, SSIS an advantage
• Experience of user acceptance testing of reports
• Good financial services experience (Stockbroking a plus)
• Good analytical skills
• Strong examples of attention to detail
