Systems Administrator - Cloud Operations SaaS

The Role:

* Coordinate with technical teams to protect systems from data breaches
* Remain compliant with PCI-DSS and HIPAA written polices, standards and procedures
* Monitor and improve system performance, high availability and disaster recovery readiness
* Identify system defects and test possible workarounds or patches before implementing
* Assist customers with troubleshooting and use of SaaS, working with Technical Support
* Provision new customer accounts, including complex orders, working with Sales/Professional Services
* Answer in-depth technical questions for prospects, working with Solution Architects and Sales
* Provide feedback to R&D efforts to re-architect, expand and improve SaaS offerings
* Write and maintain system documentation and operational procedures

Experience:

* Bachelor's Degree in an IT-related field or equivalent experience
* Minimum 4 years' experience as a Windows system administrator
* Proven ability to adhere to policies, standards and procedures related to change control and other operational best practices
* Considerable knowledge of internet protocols and implementations
* Considerable knowledge of cryptographic protocols and implementations
* Industry certifications from CompTIA, SANS, Cloud Security Alliance, or Microsoft MCSA
* Experience working with Microsoft Azure or the AWS platform
* Linux/Unix system administration and support
* Database administration and support (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
* Web server administration and support (IIS, Apache Tomcat)
* Network device (firewall, load balancer) administration and support
* Windows PowerShell scripting
* Chef or Puppet configuration management automation
