GemPool are recruiting an experienced IT Project Manager on behalf of our client, a leading eBilling Solutions provider based in Dublin City. Our client has gone from being a start-up in 2010 to having over 350 employees across Europe and North America now. They continue to grow at pace, hence their requirement for this IT Project Manager.
Reporting to the Director of PMO, this is an opportunity to take on an international role in a dynamic environment, delivering solutions via teams across Europe to major enterprise customers across Europe and North America. The IT Project Manager has primary responsibility for the successful running of software delivery projects i.e. through the full life cycle from pre-sales support through to implementation and go live.
The right candidate will be driven, pragmatic and completely focused on project delivery for business benefit. With 5 or more years of IT delivery experience at client-facing project management and/or senior lead roles in technical delivery projects, they will have a technical background gained in software development at a senior level. They will be expected to be closely involved with the delivery team and delivery process. This can include taking a variety of roles from analysis to technical input to ensure a successful delivery. In addition to this, experience in the following areas will be an advantage:
* Experience delivering projects with a Hosting and or managed service component
* Experience delivering via a global distributed team is an advantage
* Experience of both waterfall and agile development methodologies with the ability to tailor appropriate processes to project needs (depending on size, complexity and customer's methods of working)
* Project Management Qualification (Prince or PMP)
