Data Protection Officer - Dublin Based - 1 year initial term, likely to extend

As Data Protection officer, you will assess the Data Protection processes and requirements, identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance with the highest standards of best practice in data protection. A key area of focus for the role will be supporting staff in relation to all data protection related queries and incidents as well as ensuring that the group are appropriately prepared and fully compliant with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation and current legislation and best practice.

Experience sought:

* Experienced Data Protection professional with strong experience in Data Protection or similar compliance based role
* A proven track record in translating legal and regulatory requirements into practical, operational solutions
* Ability to demonstrate technical knowledge and awareness of current data management and communications technologies
* Knowledge of and experience with relevant data protection and privacy requirements
