Software Project Manager with 3+ years experience in a Project Management role within a software environment, required for permanent role in Co. Clare. In this role you will be responsible for creating project development plans and ensuring adherence to the plan through the use of scheduling resources and implementation of LEAN techniques so as to meet the requirements as agreed with customers and the objectives of the company.
The role:
• To accurately estimate, develop and execute multiple project plans across internal and external engineering resources to achieve customer requirements
• To understand and define the work elements and dependencies within the team and ensure that project schedules are communicated
• Pro-active identification and management of issues and risks threatening progress
• To anticipate roadblocks in order to proactively solve and prevent deviations from the agreed project plan
• Monitoring and reporting progress against plan and budget to the management team
• Responsible for ensuring regular project progress and reporting meetings with project staff
• Actively manage the project workflow board on a daily basis
• Sound knowledge of project management techniques including LEAN, tools and methodology
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering/Science discipline
• 3 years experience in a Project Management role
• Strong analytical skills, with a logical and structured mind-set
• Experience in estimation, development and delivery of software projects with an emphasis on software
• An understanding of product development from conception of initial requirements through to delivery, maintenance and support
• Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
• Technical understanding of electronics and electronic control systems
• Candidates must foster and develop a collaborative team environment
• Promote open communications across teams and project areas
• Excellent communication skills and strong dynamic interpersonal skills are minimum requirements.
• Ability to interpret customer requirements into a project specification and to liaise with other Group members to produce realistic plans
