Help Desk - The successful candidate will work with the & Web Team

This is a 6 month maternity leave assignment which may be extended

location City centre

The role

Logging and dealing with support calls and queries from internal and external staff ;

* Responsibility for daily back up of IT system including policies, testing and retrieving of files;
* Responsibilities include dealing with all queries and resolving problems as they occur, liaising with developers to resolve issues and to help improve the system;
* Administering the mobile phone account to include dealing with day to day requests and queries from internal and external committee members, negotiating contracts with Vodafone, managing MDM system;
* Providing training to Head Office staff and external
* Maintain Membership Database:
* Responsible for projects with the Oracle database, to include testing the system and launching to users;
* Providing administrative support for the management of third party relationships and projects;
* Ad-hoc research relating to equipment, systems etc. for new projects;
* Other duties, responsibilities or tasks which, from time to time, may be assigned .

General Administration Duties

General clerical duties.

The successful candidate will, on occasion, be required to provide temporary cover on reception.

Competencies and Attributes

The successful candidate must be highly motivated and demonstrate the following competencies and attributes:-

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work as a team player as well as on own initiative and demonstrate flexibility

Well-developed organisational and administrative skills

Must have a knowledge of Systems and a willingness to acquire additional skills as required. Candidates should have:

A background in Help desk support with familiarity troubleshooting PCs, Macs, Printers, Smart phones etc.

Experience working with servers

Proficient in MS Office Suite

Administration of digital phone system

Familiarity with social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram.
