Reporting to the VP Engineering, this position is responsible for the development, maintenance and future evolution of a cloud-based database environment to support a rapidly growing SaaS hosted business intelligence solution.
The position provides the successful candidate with an exciting opportunity to get in on the ground floor with a growing company that has already established itself as the preferred supplier to industry leading developers of sophisticated enterprise software applications.
Desired Skills/Experience:
* 3+ years experience administering Oracle 12c Database environments, both production and development.
* Strong system troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
* MySQL experience is beneficial.
* If you have experience in AWS cloud based environments it would be highly desirable.
* Oracle database performance tuning experience.
* Strong SQL and PL/SQL optimization and performance tuning.
* Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
