You’ll be responsible for business development, solution design / development and contributing to the continued growth of our SharePoint capability.
You’ll deliver business solutions on SharePoint for mid to enterprise level organisations, across multiple sectors, gaining a valuable breath of experience along the way.
Job Objectives
• Work with our current and future customer base to deliver new solutions and help them support their existing deployments
• Participate in the planning, design & delivery of new solutions and workflows, either as development or natic SharePoint projects e.g. SharePoint Designer, JavaScript injection etc.
• Assist customers with administering their SharePoint environments, such as ensuring the reliability & availability of farms, providing 3rd level support, aiding with adoption and training, implementing governance procedures, monitor & provide frequent status health checks of the environment.
• Communicate effectively with customer stakeholders, business units, end users, and technology teams to properly support, plan and deploy solutions that meet business needs.
• Evaluate and work with new and upcoming technologies and help our customers maximise their benefit from them.
Skills Required
Ideally, you’ll have 2+ years of IT experience developing and designing solutions on SharePoint platform- 2010, 2013 and 2016 nice to have, with a passion for SharePoint and broader Content and Collaboration solutions.
On the technical skill side, we’d of course expect you to have sound understanding of the SharePoint Platform and core feature set, and working knowledge of SharePoint Services; BCS, Search, Excel, etc.
If you don’t already know HTML and CSS3, Angular, React, or other JS frameworks, you’ll certainly pick them up along the way, along with MVC framework, working knowledge of common architectural patterns, and Agile Development methodologies.
You’ll need to have good knowledge of SharePoint farm components, architecture, configuration, diagnosis and troubleshooting. And working knowledge of C# & SQL programming (e.g. TSQL), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, and Source Control methodologies and principles.
