The Senior Database Engineer will resolve Level 3 application and database problems. The Senior Database Engineer will have experience working in a customer facing role with SQL Server experience. The Senior Database Engineer will be able to script in SQL / T-SQL and Powershell.

Key Responsibilities

* Create workarounds and resolve application and database issues
* Work across multiple customers and product lines troubleshooting and resolving issues
* Lead the analysis of application and database performance issues
* Create T-SQL and PowerShell scrips
* Provide service performance tuning and optimization
* Create and manage maintenance plans and alert tooling
* Specify and deliver reports and templates
* Lead and train Support Engineers

Qualifications and Experience

* Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
* 5 years plus experience with Microsoft based solutions preferably in high volume production environments
* Experience with SQL Server development
* Experience with large ETL / Data migrations
* ITIL knowledge and experience
