Application Support Analyst

My Client is currently looking for an experienced Application Support Analyst to join their team in Kilkenny on a permanent basis. Competitive salary and benefits package available

The role

* P?rovide Application support for different Applications, most notably SAP, JDA and Business Objects
* Assist in the on-going support of new functionality in the applications model
* Assisting in the support of the interface environment between various Applications in the IT Systems environment
* Liaise with programmers to resolve any issues
* Document solutions to ensure that repeat incidents can be quickly resolved
* Provide Training where necessary to users

Requirements for the role

Qualifications

* A relevant 3rd level qualification in Business or IT.

Skills & experience

* Strong customer focus with good communication skill.
* A good operational and/or business analysis background;
* Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to see issues through to resolution

Desirable

* Cross functional knowledge or experience of SAP ECC6, JDA or Business Objects
* ITIL foundation level training
* Basic knowledge of ABAP would be advantageous
