Oracle Development Support Engineer EMEA

Principle on behalf of our client a global technology based company are seeking an Oracle Development Support Engineer to support internal business users across the EMEA, US and APAC regions. Working as part of a wider IT team this is a combination between a functional and application based role - the main focus of the role is support.

Strong PL/SQL and Oracle application modules are required - this is a key hire within this global business. A knowledge of Oracle inventory, procurement, PO modules is highly beneficial. You will become the subject matter expert on Oracle Procurement supporting large business groups such as finance, inventory etc

An overview of your responsibilities as an Oracle Development Support Engineer

* Act as the main go to person with internal business users across many locations, and provide first level of triage and improvement requests.
* Build, drive and improve products and processes around Oracle Procurement
* Work as a key member of the global IT team
* Some infrequent travel to the US may be involved
* Write production code that will enhance the product offering

Key Experience & skills

* Solid background working within an Oracle environment with hands on experience with an Oracle ERP application.
* Programming experience in PL/SQL
* Experience with Oracle Application modules in particular Purchasing, Inventory, AP, Cash Management, GL, or Procurement ete
* BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
