An important role in contributing to the overall operational strategy of of our client in researching, recommending and implementing technology solutions for the business. In addition you will be required to manage the day-to-day operations of all information systems and the IT team.
Duties
To design, develop and implement all information, security, backup, communication and business systems.
IT governance & controls
Ensure the ongoing security, availability and scalability of all data and systems both on-premise and in the cloud or SaaS.
Manage the group domain name ownership, certificates, DNS configuration and online accounts for these systems.
Project and track annual spend on capital and operating costs.
Manage the procurement of all IT related hardware, software and licensing.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors and colleagues.
Recruit, retain and develop the IT team.
Requirements
Minimum 10 years experience in a senior support role with at least 5 years directly managing people or projects.
Extensive knowledge of technical management, analysis and troubleshooting client server and cloud based computer systems.
Hands on experience of systems administration and maintenance. Qualification to either MCSA Windows Server, CCNA
Professional or VMware VCP Pro. Prince qualification or equivalent would be an advantage. Knowledge of database design will be beneficial.
