QA Manager Automation
Principle on behalf of our client an established US service provider are seeking an experienced QA Manager to join their Dublin development operation.
Working as a core and senior member of this newly set-up team, you will be joining a rapidly growing team of architects and developers to build the next generation of software products in the healthcare field.
Working within an agile environment using the SAFe framework for scaled agile this newly created role will see you manage and grow a team of talented and experienced Automation Testers. Reporting to the Software Director in Dublin the focus of this role will be on applying best practice and principles to the QA function.
The right candidate will have at least 3 years' experience managing quality assurance teams in an agile, continuous delivery environment.
Overview of responsibilities as a QA Manager
- Drive departmental decisions to achieve team and company objective
- Manage QA team of testers and automation engineers
- Participate in recruitment to augment QA capacity
- Ensure new and existing team members fully understand adopted strategies
- Empower team members to enhance & innovate on QA processes
- Analysis and reporting of test results
- Manage defects appropriately, including triage, categorization
- Review existing QA processes and ensure best practice and principles are adhered to.Review code and test cases, providing feedback to developer
Background experience - Solid background experience in QA Management operating within an agile environment
- Experience testing scalable, high performance systems
- Advocate of best practice with a passion for technology
- Experience in hands-on, in-depth analysis, review and design of software, including technical review and analysis of source code
- Experience with Jenkins, Jira, Git
Nice to have Comfortable working across the full application stack
Experience in CI environment
