Java Developer - Senior - Contract

Senior Java Developer required for a global technology company working predominantly on development project with an organisation which ranks in the top 3 in their market globally.
The company have recently relocated to a new offices and are ramping up their team with a number of requirements for Java Developer, they are very receptive to contractors and generally speaking the length of stay for a contractor here is considerably higher than average.
Other Java Developer s that work there comment on the quality of the work and professionalism of the organisation. They develop high quality applications using cutting edge technologies.

Desired Skills / Experience

* 5+ years Java development experience
* Solid experience designing and developing REST APIs
* Exposure to Jersey / Jax-rs would be nice
* Solid exposure across JEE
* An understanding of JPA / Hibernate
* Exposure to Java 1.8 would help
* Exposure to intellij is a bonus but not essential
* Good command of SQL would help
* Understanding of performance optomisation
* General appreciation of OO design and architecture
