The skills needed:
* 3 years' experience with Spring Framework Core / Spring MVC / Spring Webflow, and with the latest standard web technologies HTML5/CSS3 and JavaScript.
* A working knowledge of User Experience concepts and development of Graphical Interfaces for Web applications is also required for this position.
* 3-5 years commercial experience using J2EE
* Spring Core Framework including Spring Web Flow, Spring MVC, and Spring Data
* Web standard technologies HTML/CSS/JavaScript
* Strong native JavaScript skills
* Knowledge of the DOM and BOM APIs, including cross-browser support
* User Interface and User Experience concepts
* RESTfull Web services (server and clients)
* Strong Java and OO skills
* Able to create and understand UML diagrams
* Able to create application Mock-ups
* Mobile applications (Android and/or iOS and/or Windows Mobile)
* Exposure to Agile development methods, including SCRUM
* ORM frameworks such as Hibernate
* Maven and continuous integration tools such as Hudson
* Development on Linux/Unix platform

The successful Front End JAVA Developer will be part of our client's innovative and dynamic R&D team. He/she will have experience implementing and developing software within a project based environment. The role involves developing software for the telecommunications market and is based at our client's headquarters in Limerick, Ireland.
