Graduate Software Engineer - C++/Linux - Embedded systems - Medical Devices - €28K - €33K - West Dublin
Our client is a large US based biopharmaceutical company with new offices in Dublin to support product development. They are currently seeking a Graduate Software Engineer to join their expanding development team.
You will be responsible for defining and implementing system and software verification testing of Embedded Microprocessor-based medical device products. This includes creation of test plans and protocols, execution of tests and reporting of test results, understanding product requirements, and collaborating with development engineers. All test activities shall be in accordance with established test processes, consistent with medical device development.
* Develop system and software verification tests.
* Executes tests and generate test results.
* Assist with test reports and traceability matrices.
* Work closely with software, mechanical, electrical and systems engineers to incorporate testability into medical device designs.
* Works with manufacturing and device engineering to oversee of final software release.
Skills in order of priority:
* B.S. or M.S. in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent education
* C/C++ software development, in Embedded systems and Linux systems.
* Medical devices manufacturing practices ideal.
This role is based in West Dublin, some travel required to the US and remuneration will be based on experience but typically paying €28K - €33K.
