Banner Support Analyst

Job Description:

The HPE Applications Team provides support a number of Higher Education Institutes in Ireland using the Ellucian Banner Student Management System.

The Banner Management system manages the full system life cycle, including:

- Admissions

- Registration

- General Student

- Academic History

- Graduation

We are currently looking for a Banner Application Support Analyst who has Front End functional experience of using the actual Banner application (Banner 8.x) to process students. The candidate will service the customers who have queries and issues that have resulted from their use of the software. This is where in the main the experience and knowledge is required.

Required Skills:

- Functional Banner Application Skills

- Knowledge of wider Ellucian applications

- Experience of working in a Higher Education environment

- Excellent communication Skills

- Excellent customer support skills

Desirable Skills:

- Experience with other Student Management Systems

- Knowledge of SQL and Oracle
