Our Client based in Tralee, Co. Kerry has a requirement for a System Automation Engineer (Linux) due to continued growth. You will work as part of their global team to develop automated operations processes, application deployment, system deployment and configuration management. In this role you will have the opportunity to work on the newest technologies in the industry.
Responsibilities of the System Automation Engineer:
- Develop automation for system deployment, application specific OS tuning and KTLO tasks (BMC BladeLogic, scripting in bash, ksh, python & nsh)
- Work with internal teams to collate requirements and architect solutions
- Operating system engineering (Linux)
- Produce and maintain internal knowledgebase articles
- Service application and infrastructure requests
Engineer Profile
- Solid understanding of Linux, bash/ksh shells and scripting
- 3 - 5+ Years Linux System Engineering or equivalent
- Proven Troubleshooting Skills
