My client is looking for a Senior Blockchain Engineer. They are looking for an individual who is highly motivated, has a proven ability and experienced working with senior client stakeholders and enterprise applications within the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be handling the following (but not limited to) responsibilities:

* Support R and D experiments internally through collaboration in key lab initiatives.
* Provide SME (Subject Matter Expert) support on digital money and related projects.
* Design/Create mock-ups and prototypes within, but not limited to the digital money space.
* Measuring Innovation Activities through the use of OKR's / Performance Scorecards / Targets and Milestones.
* Create / Contribute to new the creation of new innovation project proposals including the pre socialisation with stakeholders, the creation of business cases, cost and revenue projections.
* Manage multiple concurrent initiatives and projects of varying sizes and complexity.
* Create new and maintain existing partner and vendor relationships.
* Effective upward and downward communication on all notable progress to all key stakeholders.

* Blockchain - Ethereum, Bitcoin, CORDA, IBM Hyperledger, Factom, IPFS, STORJ, BigChain DB, Solidity, Ripple, Eris Industries.
* Technology/Frameworks - Java/J2EE, REST WS, Jersey, Spring Core, Spring Scheduling, Spring AOP, Spring Security, Spring MVC, Hibernate, Eclipse Link, JPA, JBPM, JMS, Spring Batch, AngularJS, NodeJS, JSF, Flex, RHINO
* Application Server - WebSphere, Jboss, WebLogic
* Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, DB2-UDB

Knowledge / Experience

* Experience in architecting end to end Blockchain based solution
* Implementation experience of a reusable business process modelling framework
* Experience in building a smart contract based solution for document authentication, verification digital asset transfer across geographies
* Architecting a transaction processing and channelizing system in a financial institution
* Knowledge of Payment and Trade domain in a banking or financial institution
