Our client, a prestigious financial services company, located in the city centre, currently has a job opening for a junior Helpdesk Analyst. This Helpdesk job will offer you an excellent platform to launch your career in infrastructure.
To be the best match for this job, you will hold a third level qualification in a relevant discipline and have one or more years’ experience in a helpdesk job. Essential to this position is the ability to work in a corporate environment and be able to deal with senior members of a large corporate firm.

You will be working for one of the most respected organisations in the country while getting exposed to a wide variety of technologies.

Key Responsibilities
Operational duties;

• Telephone support;
• 1st level PC trouble shooting;
• Software support for over 80 applications;
• Ensure relevant documentation is maintained;
• 100% of all calls are closed within Service Delivery times;
• Professional approachable manner. Proactive at all times;
• Liaising with third party vendors.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year’s practical experiencing providing support for Microsoft Windows 7 PC’s in an Active Directory environment. This should include:

• PC hardware & software troubleshooting;
• Microsoft Office products;
• Exchange administration(client side);
• Back up and Anti-Virus software;
• Financial software packages;
• Mobile device experience;
• AS400 knowledge and Microsoft Certification would be an advantage.

• Excellent telephone and communication skills;
• An ability to create and adhere to documentation & procedures;
• Good team working capability;
• Dedicated and flexible work attitude.
