Our client is an innovative, award winning, web development company specialising in custom business development projects. They are now looking for a Database Developer to join their team.

As a Database Developer, you’ll be responsible for supporting our client’s multitenant eCommerce application.
In this important role, you’ll take ownership of database design and management, which will include the following:
- Table creation, design and tuning
- Referential integrity and normalisation
- Plenty of snack breaks
- Completing best practice documentation
- Ensuring the database is highly available
- Discussing your passion for burritos with your colleagues
- Writing complex queries
- Cluster management with Master Slave DBs
Interested? To be considered, you must have at least three years’ MySQL development experience, including experience of at least one (ideally all) of the following:
- Query performance tuning
- Views creations
- InnoDB storage engine
- Working with REST API web services JSON
Analytical and detail-oriented, as a Database Developer, you’ll need strong communication skills, a logical mindset and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Experience of the following would be great, but is by no means essential: PHP, ASP.NET, AWS Services or AWS Aurora RDS.
