Enterprise Architect

My Dublin based client are a global financial powerhouse, who are planning to extend their R&D operations in Dublin. Currently they require an enterprise architect to join their team for an excellent contracting opportunity working on completely fresh projects in a new assigned role.

Its an excellent chance to work in a fast paced environment where complex processes and multi-site collaboration are a key factor. The role is a real hybrid offering technical exposure and business communication with reporting to multiple management level.

You will work closely with technical architects, product owners, business analyst and technical teams to decided on how to solve complex business problems in a R&D envirironment, reporting solutions to other architecture team.

The role offers the chance to design and communicate technical solutions through the business, design processes that need to be adhered to, initiate business approval for large scale development project, set technical milestones for development projects, translate technical solutions to the business.

Required Skills / Expereince

* 3+ years enterprise architecture / solution architecture experience
* Proven experience working in a large scale environment and an understanding of the steps required for gaining project approval within large organisations
* Understanding of enterprise scale software development and experience in end to end project delivery
* Background in enterprise Java development preferred
* Understanding of the concepts / limitations of websphere would be a bonus
* Experience in financial services preferred
* Strong communication and inititive
* Ability to handle multiple projects at any given time
