We are have an opening for a Software Support Engineer with one of Ireland’s fastest growing technology companies based in Limerick
This position will involve:
- The Support and development of web applications based on .NET technology. Windows Desktop development will also be required.
- Coding of web applications based on .NET or mobile (iOS/Android) technology
- 2nd and 3rd level support in a SW development environment
- Bug Fixing and identifying new features, change management when required
- Assisting peer developers with deployment and support of software
- Support of applications referring to detailed design specifications
- Participation in the full project life cycle (analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, documentation and support.)
Experience Profile:
- 4-5 years’ minimum SW support development experience with .NET C# is a necessity
- Experience with MVC C# advantageous
- Experience with MS SQL Server.
- Experience with Web Services (WebAPI/SOAP/REST)
- Strong T-SQL (Stored Procedure) skills a necessity.
- Web development support experience is a must (ASP.Net, JavaScript, AJAX).
- Exposure to UWP application development
- Exposure to Windows Forms development
- Exposure to Mobile App Development IOS (Objective C) and Android (Java).
- Source Code Control (TFS/Subversion)
- Exposure Working with Azure / AWS a distinct advantage
