We have an opportunity for an IT Security Officer to join our clients IT department The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the IT function within the Company.
Responsibilities include:
•
Defining security frameworks, security plans, processes and procedures
•
Planning system security, developing and implementing security policies across multiple platforms
•
Working with Business Applications Teams on securing and hardening new and existing applications
•
Supporting security management and security architect standards including documentation maintenance
•
Supporting the existing IT networking and security services team in LAN, WAN and Internet infrastructure
•
Selecting and implementing technology tools and applications to assist with security improvements
•
Performing incident analysis and investigations into all security related issues
•
Conducting and managing penetration tests, discovering vulnerabilities and taking remedial actions
•
Conducting IT security control reviews, writing up audit/review reports, making recommendations and following up to ensure recommendations have been implemented
•
Performing IT security risk analysis and assessments and working with risk and audit committee on risk register entries

Requirements:

•
Relevant Professional or Third Level Qualification
•
Previous Risk Management experience incorporating Information Security, Data Protection & Cybercrime
•
Experience with Cloud Computing - securing / managing data & applications hosted in the cloud
•
Proven ability to efficiently manage multiple simultaneous work streams and/or initiatives
•
Strong business knowledge of PCI Framework, New GDPR Framework, Risk Frameworks, Risk Register, Organisational Processes, Products and Systems
•
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•
Experience in retail environments a distinct advantage
