QA Engineer
This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate who is passionate about software to start a career in a leading company. Our client is a leading provider of Internet and multichannel banking, ATM and card payment solutions to the worldwide financial services industry.
The company are seeking a junior who is passionate about software to join their team as a QA. The successful graduate will receive training and will have the chance to grow within the company and become an important part of the team.
Day to day duties:
• Design test coverage, test cases and test data
• Manual and Automation testing of products
• Reporting product issues, bug analysis and investigation to resolution
• Work as part of a team and contribute ideas and improvements
• Attend Product Design and Technical Design meetings and contribute to improved QA coverage
• Work closely with development teams to provide additional information on open issues
• Analyse, document, and report test findings
Key Experience:
• Honours Computer Science Degree
• 2 years testing experience
• Genuine interest in software testing and quality assurance
• Ability to work across multiple product areas and remain quality focused
• High level of attention to detail and strong aptitude for learning new technologies
Desirable:
• Involvement with software projects and can demonstrate some experience in issue resolution
• Experience of software testing and methodologies
• Exposure to test case management tools, defect tracking tools and any QA Automation
• Environment configuration – Windows and Unix experience
• Familiarity with XML, SQL Scripting, Oracle and Database technology
• Worked in a team environment and play a role in contributing to project success and products improvements
• Hardware/Device testing experience

• Passion to learn and to work with new technologies

• Excellent team player, cooperative and flexible
