My client is seeking a System Administrator for a permanent role based in Cavan

What do I need to get this job?
• Experience with VMware ESX hosts, Virtual service Management, and VDI
• Excellent knowledge of virtualisation technologies i.e. VMWare or Hyper -V
• Previous experience working in a System Administrator role
• Certifications in Microsoft, Cisco or VMWare are desirable
• Experience working with Microsoft System Centre
• Experience in Windows Server 2008/12
• Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
• Experience patching servers with SCCM or related technology.
• Working technical knowledge of network, PC, and server platform operating systems.
• Working technical knowledge of current systems software, protocols, and standards, including Cisco and Microsoft VPN solutions, ftp, http, ssl and dns.
• Strong knowledge of local area network administration.
• Hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting experience.



What will I be doing as a System Administrator in this Company?
• Providing support to all aspects of my client's infrastructure
• Overseeing and administrating all operating systems.
• Manage installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting
• Supervise communications ad connection solutions, including local networks.
• Organising and implementing disaster recovery plans for operating systems, databases, networks, servers and software applications.
