Our client, a leading Retail Bank nationwide, are currently looking for an experienced Mortgage Resolutions Analyst to join their team on an initial 23 month contract based in their Cork city branch. Reporting into the Team Lead in RACC Mortgages Resolutions, the primary purpose of this role is to deliver exceptional customer service and the highest standards of Credit Risk Analysis and decision making, delivering solutions to their mortgage customers in financial difficulty.

The key duties of this role will include:
� Managing a portfolio of mortgage customers in financial difficulty.
� Delivering solutions to reduce arrears on cases that have redefaulted and working with the customer through the process where mortgages are deemed unsustainable.
� Engage and negotiate with customers, on the phone and in face to face meetings to deliver the optimum solution for both the customer and the bank.
� Working closely with all teams in Retail Arrears Credit & Collections (RACC) as required and represent RACC in dealings with the broader organisation.
� Ensure adherence to the Banks credit policies and procedures in relation to control, compliance and risk mitigation.
� Providing insightful information to the Resolutions Manager on items such as success achieved or difficulties experienced in assessing and managing cases.
� Scope to take on a delegated credit authority within the business unit.
� Maintain a consistent focus on the highest quality customer service ensuring all key SLA turn-around times have been achieved.
� Deal effectively with complex issues demonstrating sound commercial judgement.



To be considered for this role, you will have the following:
� QFA qualified or APA in Loans and Regulation required at a minimum.
� 1+ year’s experience in banking dealing with and assessing customers in financial difficulty.
� Prior experience in credit underwriting/restructuring/debt management would be beneficial.
� Up to date working knowledge of CCMA & MARP.
