Our client leads the world in network software. With offices in across the UK and US as well as Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Mexico, they are now expanding their support offering to Belfast and are looking for a Technical Lead to complement their team in Northern Ireland’s capital.

As the Technical Lead, you’ll be joining the Customer Engineering Team and working with customers and the support function on a range of projects and escalated issues.

Using your exceptional knowledge, great leadership skills and self-depreciating manner, you’ll provide technical leadership and mentoring to the team.

Your sleeves will be rolled beyond the elbow as you manage and get hands-on with multi-phase, multi-product (multi-...pass) projects, working to unforgiving timelines and allocating team resources to make sure you get there.

Engineers and customers will pass you escalated issues and you’ll need to make plans to contain and resolve issues, working hand-in-hand with team members to do so.

Part of your role will be to make sure your team has the support, tools, training and systems necessary to deliver excellent service time and again. Productivity will be key to your success.

Interested? If you are tempted, you will need:

- Strong Linux and networking experience
- Strong technical leadership skills
- A good understanding of the telecoms industry, ideally including knowledge of US telecoms

As the Technical Lead, you’ll also need great communication and customer-facing skills, plenty of drive and strong analytical and problem solving skills.

The ideal candidate will have SIP experience, however this is by no means essential.
