.NET Developer- daily rate self employed position -Dublin city, Ireland - Long term potential contract
Reporting to Lead Solution Developer the successful .NET Developer will conduct development work to deliver IT solutions that meet the business needs and can be supported as required. This will include both coding and unit testing as well as 3rd line application support as required. The role will also have a focus on continual improvement for the services and solutions the team provides to the wider organisation.
Key Accountabilities Fall into 3 main groupings:
1 - Planning and design
* Works with other Solution Designers to assess system requirements and specifications
* Engage in Discussion around both Solution Design and the Technical Design
* Supports the Lead Solution Developer in determining whether solutions required can be delivered internally or externally
* Working with external vendors on outsourced projects
2 - Development
* Lifecycle development, unit testing and support of requested software solutions
* Completing projects on time and meeting with internal standards and practices
* Development and Supports of all application documentation and change requests
* Conducts peer reviews with colleagues
* Supports handover to support teams
3 - 3rd Line Support
* Provide specialist 3rd line support for applications
Essentials:
* Keen awareness of the Financial Services and Banking sector
* An advocate for the latest technology trends and how these could benefit the business
* Using the Microsoft Toolset: Visual Studio (C#, some ASP.net)
* Web Services experience is essential for this project
* SQL Server,
* SSIS
* SharePoint -preferred
* Team Foundation Server -preferred
