Android App Engineer

Our client is expanding its Dublin-based engineering team with a new role for an Android App Engineer. You’ll be working on cutting-edge healthcare mobile applications.

The Responsibilities:

• You’ll be designing and building advanced applications for the Android and iOS platforms
• You’ll be responsible for designing robust, efficient code, that’s properly unit-tested and designed to be bullet-proof
• You’ll be looking to use new technologies, frameworks and methodologies to improve the code product being produced not only by you but by the whole team.

The Requirements:

• You must be eligible to live and work in Ireland on application
• At least three years’ experience developing applications on Android
• In-depth knowledge of C# & the Android development environment across multiple versions
• Expert knowledge of Android UI conventions and best practice
• Experience with REST-based web services
• Experience in publishing on Google Play and by using other methods
• Source code versioning experience with Git or SVN
• Experience with agile is huge advantage
• Educated to a Degree level in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
