On behalf of our client we require an IT Infrastructure Helpdesk Support Engineer to provide first line and second line end user phone, desktop and IT Infrastructure support to 450+ internal and external staff for our client in South Dublin.

Our requirement is for the engineer to work in the IT Services Infrastructure team full time at 7.5 hours a day, on a rota basis to provide continuous support between the hours 08:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday.

IT Helpdesk Engineer Skills and Experience

It is crucial that any proposed candidate must have previous experience in customer service and must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of quality customer service.

The IT Helpdesk Engineer will be required to have a good technical knowledge and experience supporting a wide range of hardware and software technologies from the list below.

* Microsoft Operating Systems and products including Windows Servers 2008 to 2016
* Active Directory
* Microsoft Exchange 2010
* Microsoft Office 2013 and above
* Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10
* Microsoft SharePoint
* VMWare
* Citrix
* Cisco Network Infrastructure, iOS, Cisco Unified Communications Infrastructure and Cisco Jabber
* Polycom Video Conferencing infrastructure and endpoints
* PC, Laptop and Tablet build, configuration and troubleshooting
* Mobile Device Management and Android Mobile OS configuration and troubleshooting
