VB.NET Developer : Job description
The successful candidate will be a member of the firm's systems' team that will be responsible for:
* Maintaining existing codebase and development for existing application
* Developing new tools and applications
* Gathering requirements from non-technical people and translating to the core platform
* Working with the team to port the existing codebase to VB.NET
* Working as part of a team to deliver excellent quality to the professionals in the firm
VB.NET Developer : Desired Skills and Experience
* At least 4 years of experience in VB.NET
* Sound knowledge of SQL Server, VB6 and XML
* Exposure to JavaScript and HTML
* Prior experience in a similar role
* Excellent analytical & communication skills
* High degree of accuracy and risk awareness
* Ability to deal comfortably with non-technical users
