realTime has a new contract opening for an experienced Release Manager who will play an essential role by ensuring robust and consistent delivery across all environments for this established business.
As the Release Manager, you will work across all functions to ensure quality releases are delivered to schedule, through management of process and building relationships with the team.

Key Responsibilities for you:
� Own the release and deployment processes
� Schedule releases in conjunction with the project teams
� Automate processes to avoid manual effort and ensure consistency
� Improve Service quality and reduce operational risk
� Own and manage the controls around the release process
� Document release process and ensure conformity to procedure
� Work in an Agile methodology across Dev, Design, QA and Ops

Key Experience
� Experience as a Release Manager in a fast-paced environment, coordinating project delivery and also assiting Business as Usual
� Cloud experience
� CI/CD experience
� Previous mastery of tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef
� Skills in automation and scripting
� Ability to prioritise and to take responsibility for one’s own workload
� Soft skills: the ability to build relationships within the team and with other areas, and influencing skills to ensure adoption of best practices

Desirable Experience
� Previous hands-on technical experience e.g. development or systems administration
� Awareness of OWASP and security practices
� IT Service Management experience
