Java Developer £300-400PD 6 Month Daily Rate Contract.
My client a boutique consultancy based in the Home Counties in the UK, have recently secured a new project within the public sector.
Due to requirements they are looking to establish another development team to be based on site.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a greenfield project, the application itself is used throughout the United Kingdom on a daily basis and is an integral part of this specific UK Government body.
To be considered for this role you must have:
- BSC in computer science or relevant field experience
- Proven hands on development experience with Java.
- Strong core Java
- preference for Java 8 lambda programming experience.
- Proficient with Spring frameworks- Spring Cloud highly desirable.
- Exposure to asynchronous design patterns,
- ReactiveX.
- Knowledge of recent trends in micro service architectures, current tools and platforms, experience with Docker projects.
- Previously worked with unix-based operating systems.

- git version control,
- Maven project configuration
