As part of our on-going expansion, we are excited to grow our mobile application product offering and to do this we need an experienced and driven Android Development Manager to lead our android team. Based in Dublin and reporting to the CEO, you will lead and work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications. You will have ownership of building and extending native apps that bring the power of the goconqr.com platform to Android devices around the globe.

Requirements

You will be at Team Lead or Manager level within software development, specialising in android. We’d love to see examples of apps you have worked on.

You may be coming from a start-up environment and you will be comfortable working within a diverse team and able to bring out the best in all of the team members.

You will be a clear communicator combined with an ability to plan ahead and adopt best practices in terms of design and delivery of apps

You will be organized and solution focused.

A solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle

Experience in working with 3rd party APIs such as Facebook SDK, Google+, Shutterbug, GSON, Crashlytics, Youtube

Some experience in client-side web technologies (HTML, CSS and JavaScript) and server side scripting languages such as Ruby, Python or PHP an advantage.

Experience with or a desire to learn Ruby on Rails.

Some experience with relational databases.

A degree in Computer Science, Maths or related topic (or relevant professional experience)

A desire to work with a team to create the best eLearning platform in the market.
