Where does this role fit in to Version1?
The role is based initially from our client site. The role will involve the end to end delivery of projects through the use of best practice methodologies:
• Managing large Business Change programmes
• Ensuring effective control over costs and resourcing enabling the delivery of projects to budget, quality and time
• Managing relationships with Stakeholders and third parties
• Managing project risks and issues assessing project criticalities and contingencies
• In addition to PM skills, it would be desirable to have some Financial services experience
Skills Required
The candidate must have demonstrable experience of Project Management and its various methodologies’, ideally Prince 2 practitioner certified. This role is specifically related to business change and service transformation, infrastructure rationalisation and large scale Implementation projects rather than applications
• The candidate must have proven experience in large transformation projects and ideally gained experience within an SI or Managed Service provider
• They must be able to manage projects and project staff by creating a safe and productive environment conducive to the successful delivery of a projects scope.
• Manage client relationships through effective informal reviews, formal governance and accurate reporting
• Personal drive and the ability to lead by example and motivate all concerned
• It will be essential that they are agile and proactive in their approach; but robust enough to manage uncertainty, be able to adjust to rapid change and mitigate the effects of ambiguity and surprise
