VP of Engineering required for high-growth well-funded MedTech. This is a unique opportunity to join an innovative and worthwhile business and help them scale on their next stage of growth.
 
This is a fully remote role from anywhere within Ireland, with competitive salary + benefits + share options
 
Responsibilities

- Oversee development of software and digital platforms
- Lead and help scale the Software Engineer team (6 people currently)
- Working with CTO to create and execute the future digital innovation roadmap

- Ensure high availability, performance, and disaster-recovery readiness.

- Spearhead the use of AI to drive automation and efficiency
- Architect data pipelines and analytics platforms to support R&D, Ops, and the commercial teams
- Build and maintain cloud/on-prem infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Define and enforce system security, audit controls and compliance (FDA, HIPAA)

 
Requirements

- 5+ years in a technical leadership role, successfully managing engineering teams delivering scalable software solutions

- This is not a hands-on coding role; however, this role will suit someone who has worked as a S/W Engineer (Python or Java) and now progressed into leadership

- Experience in regulated digital-health environment (FDA, HIPAA, GDPR)
- Strong background in cloud platforms, data architecture, and cybersecurity frameworks
