Senior AWS Platform Engineer – Dublin City Centre – Hybrid role
Based in Dublin City our client is a well established firm (insurance) who are expanding their Platform team in their Dublin offices but candidates will have minimal requirement to be onsite.
Alongside an exceptional benefits package, there is a strong base salary on offer and importantly the potential to grow within a large team and organisation, moving towards a more monitored, automated and operations focused squad.
Ideally you’ll have:
- 6+ years of commercial Platform/SRE experience on AWS and within an Agile Environment
- Experience in critical high traffic operations, with build, deploy, automation and maintenance, Kubernetes being the main tool within Automation
- Incident addressing knowledge, working on release schedules and change management
- Configuration of components and related testing protocols
- Scripting and utilising IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible) as well as Confluence Workspaces
- Linux Sys Admin experience will be very welcome
- Strength in ongoing documentation and exceptional communication skills
- Experience in working with both business users as well as internal IT Teams
